From 1963 to 1995, I worked as a leading scientist in the Division of Molecular Bases of Ontogenesis at the Belozersky Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology of MSU. This is the laboratory with 50 years history of DNA methylation researches. Also, I taught medical genetics at the Second Moscow Medical Institute. In 1991-1992, I had a lecture tour in the USA as a visiting professor. In 1996, I immigrated together with my family to Denver, CO. My research interests include DNA methylation, mutagenesis, mechanisms of aging, hereditary disorders, carcinogenesis, and theoretical molecular genetics. I am the author of more than 100 scientific articles and reviews. My hobbies include mountain bicycling, skiing, and collecting tropical butterflies.
